The Story Behind the Model

The DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future (1985) is the most recognisable movie car in cinema history — a stainless steel DMC-12 converted by the eccentric Dr. Emmett Brown into a time machine capable of travelling through time when it hits 88 mph. The film, directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, became one of the most beloved movies ever made, and the DeLorean became inseparable from that legacy. Corgi's replica with Doc Brown is the definitive collector's piece for any fan of the trilogy.
