The Story Behind the Model

The 1967 Camaro SS 396 was Chevrolet's opening statement in the pony car wars — introduced to take on the Mustang with more power, more presence, and more attitude. The first-year Camaro convertible with the SS 396 package is the most desirable configuration of an already-desirable car. In Turquoise, it's a colour that perfectly captures the optimism and boldness of American performance culture in the 1960s.
